Finding some songs with bells is an easy way to add some extra pizzazz to your singing. Bells are a super easy instrument for any age to use. Even your littlest human can hold some bells in their hand and shake. Check out these five songs that use bells below.

It is so easy to start using bells to sing. All you need is the bells! I recommend the band wrist bells that have velcro. They are super versatile, have a clear sound, and have a great price point. With the band you can velcro the bells onto your wrists, ankles, or simply hold them in your hand.

The velcro also allows you to connect the bells together to make the band a little larger. The band is large enough that each of my children can just wear one around their ankle, but I have to connect two together to get it to fit around mine.

Song #1: The Bells in our Hands

This catchy little tune about bells is perfect for your little ones! It’s packed with fun sounds and actions that’ll have them ringing, tapping, and shaking along. The repetition makes it super easy to learn, and the mix of loud and quiet moments keeps things interesting. Plus, it’s so simple and sweet, even the youngest kids will be singing along in no time. Trust me, this one will bring a smile to everyone’s face!

(*Tune: The Wheels on the Bus)

Verse 1

The bells in our hands go ring, ring, ring,
Ring, ring, ring, ring, ring, ring,
The bells in our hands go ring, ring, ring,
All through the day.

Verse 2

The bells in the air go high, high, high,
High, high, high, high, high, high,
The bells in the air go high, high, high,
All through the day.

Verse 3

The bells on our knees go tap, tap, tap,
Tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap,
The bells on our knees go tap, tap, tap,
All through the day.

Verse 4

The bells in our hands go shake, shake, shake,
Shake, shake, shake, shake, shake, shake,
The bells in our hands go shake, shake, shake,
All through the day.

Verse 5

The bells quiet down, shhh, shhh, shhh,
Shhh, shhh, shhh, shhh, shhh, shhh,
The bells quiet down, shhh, shhh, shhh,
All through the day.

Song #2: Ring, Ring the Bells!

This playful little song about bells is a total winner for your toddlers! It’s got all the good stuff: lots of movement (shaking, swinging, marching!), fun sounds (loud and soft), and a catchy rhythm that’s easy to pick up. Kids will love acting out the lyrics and ringing their bells. This one will be stuck in your head all day (in a good way!).

(*Tune: Pop Goes the Weasel)

Verse 1

All around the room we go,
Shaking our little bells,
Up and down and side to side,
Ring, ring the bells!

Verse 2

High above our heads they swing,
Making joyful sounds,
Round and round and all about,
Ring, ring the bells!

Verse 3

Quiet now, we softly shake,
Listen to the chime,
Then we shake them loud and strong,
Ring, ring the bells!

Verse 4

Now we march around the room,
Bells in hand, we play,
Step by step and to the beat,
Ring, ring the bells!

Song #3: If You Hear the Bells and Love It

Try singing this catchy bell song (set to the tune of “If You’re Happy and You Know It”)! It’s more than just a jingle – it encourages movement, boosts language skills, and sparks a love for music. Plus, it’s all about playing together, which builds a sense of community and belonging. The simple lyrics and actions are perfect for little hands and minds, and the familiar tune will have everyone singing along in no time.

(*Tune: If You’re Happy and You Know It)

Verse 1

If you hear the bells and love it, give a ring,
If you hear the bells and love it, give a ring,
Oh, the sound is so much fun,
When you ring for everyone,
If you hear the bells and love it, give a ring.

Verse 2

If you feel the rhythm, shake your bells,
If you feel the rhythm, shake your bells,
Oh, the beat is so much fun,
Let’s keep shaking ’til we’re done,
If you feel the rhythm, shake your bells.

Verse 3

If you like to join the fun, play them loud,
If you like to join the fun, play them loud,
Oh, the bells are singing bright,
Filling hearts with pure delight,
If you like to join the fun, play them loud.

Verse 4

If you want to make it soft, play them light,
If you want to make it soft, play them light,
Oh, the gentle sound is sweet,
Like a soft and quiet beat,
If you want to make it soft, play them light.

Verse 5

When we play our bells together, it’s so fun,
When we play our bells together, everyone,
Making music with our friends,
All the joy, it never ends,
When we play our bells together, it’s so fun.

This simple song with bells (to the tune of “The Muffin Man”) is a fantastic way to engage your little ones! It’s not just about noise-making; it’s a fun, interactive experience that encourages kids to explore different sounds, fostering their sensory and musical development. The catchy tune and repetitive lyrics make it easy to learn, and the focus on playing together creates beautiful family memories. It’s a win-win: educational and entertaining, perfect for any time you need a quick and fun activity.

(Tune: The Muffin Man)

Verse 1

Oh, do you hear the bells today,
The bells today, the bells today?
Oh, do you hear the bells today,
They’re ringing loud and clear!

Oh, can you ring your bell so soft,
Your bell so soft, your bell so soft?
Oh, can you ring your bell so soft,
Like whispers in the air?

Verse 3

Oh, can you play your bell so high,
Your bell so high, your bell so high?
Oh, can you play your bell so high,
It sparkles like the stars?

Verse 4

Oh, let’s all play the bells right now,
The bells right now, the bells right now,
